USW of Western KY


The United Steelworkers of Western Kentucky will host their 2nd Annual "Chipping In For Our Communities Charities" Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Silo Country Club.

This charity event was taken over by the United Steelworkers of Western KY, after the announced closure of the Paducah gaseous diffusion facility by USEC.  For many, many years USEC has assisted USW Local 550 in holding this sporting event, and through the years has produced several hundreds of thousands of dollars to our regional local charities.

The USW Local 550 as a community stakeholder has recently provided over $38,000.00 dollars to local area charities in 2013.  

This event entry fees are tax deductible.

Entry fee for a four person team is $300.00 dollars. Individual entry fee is $75.00 per person.

Awards and prizes will be awarded to the Top Flight participants.

We anticipate Royal Oaks Chevrolet to sponsor a "Hole-In-One Car" on one of the holes, and additional holes will be sponsored by other area businesses.  

The Corporate Sponsorship fee is $500.00 dollars. This will include a four person entry.

Small Business Sponsorship fee of $250.00 dollars.
