Thanksgiving 2018

"Let us be joyful, pray continually, and give Thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you, in Jesus Christ"

As we stop to celebrate this year's holiday season, while spending time with friend's and loved ones, let us remember to stop and give Thanks to the Lord, for he provides everything that we have.  Let us also remember that there are those among us who have within the last year lost love ones that will not be with them this year, and we ask God to give them a comfort and peace in their absence.

Our homes, our jobs, our health, our cars/trucks/boats, and all of our possessions are provided only by him......and not by some contractor, or boss.

We sometimes often forget this, as we like to think that WE have obtained all of this by ourselves......... but in truth and fact it is God that has provided this all for us.  Every rich blessing that we have obtained, comes from the Lord God.

While there are those forces and individuals out there how would like to take away from us and make us their slaves........while reducing our family sustaining wages, our health care benefits, and our vacation time off work in order to spend with family, friends and love ones, we need to Pray that God will make it evident to those who oppose us, that at the end of life, when they stand before the Lord on their final day of judgment, it's not going to matter how much money they made, it's not going to matter how much profit in monetary means that they have made, it's not going to matter how much wealth and possessions they have obtained....................."as this is a sin only driven by greed and Satan".

The only thing that is going to matter to our Lord God, is how they treated people along the way, and how much they honored and followed him in life.

Remember, Jesus threw the moneychangers out of the Temple, because they were taking advantage of the poor, in making riches of their own, and they had turned God's place of worship into a marketplace.

Let us Pray for those who oppose us in their "sin of greed" and want to make us slaves, in attempting to take away our wages, our benefits, and our time off work, only in an effort so that they can obtain more wealth themselves, and ask God to "shake them to their core, chastising and make them repent of their sinfulness", in order to get their attention and refocus them away from their sin of greed, as they truly need to give to those who are less fortunate, and share their many blessings, as we share our blessings with our families and friends during this holiday season, and in the year to come.

"It is easier for a Camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the gates of Heaven." Mark 10:25
